2024
Unifying Power BI Reporting - Took over responsibility of our Compliance team & Training team’s Power BI reports, becoming a single-point of contact & responsible for the company’s changes to Power BI. I’d started the process of unifying the recurring data structures within the company (Date structure & Employee structure). This was expanded in the creation of our Podcasts Power BI report which used these structures as a proof-of-concept that we can use the data in the lists from sharepoint (used by anyone in the office) to join into our BI data (Data cleansed by the data team)
Team Member Offboarding Process - Successfully completed the offboarding process of a member of our team. This included ensuring all workload of the previous team member had visibility & had adequate cover following their departure from the team. It also included revisiting the roles & workload currently spread among the team to compensate for the new direction of the business.

Trainee Data Role Onboarding - Completed the process of onboarding a new member of the data team with little exposure to the SQL Developer role. This included designing the role specification, working with IR on the narrowing criteria, conducting interviews & technical tests, ensuring a smooth onboarding, and designing & executing a new training roadmap
Global Contact Data Cleanse - Correctly identified & safely removed 90% of contacts from our database. Using SQL I’d worked closely with the CEO & Divisional Directors of our overseas offices to reduce the number of uncontacted, irrelevant, duplicated or unusable contacts from our database by 90% without causing any disruption to the company by locking vital tables or removing important data.

2022
BI Metrics Engine - Improving upon our cleansed BI data, I developed our metrics engine which would provide precalculated values for any system to use based on the three dimensions of subject, time and metric. This data ensured fast retrieval of any metric value, for any person/team/division, over any amount of time without requiring any calculation, ensuring all values displayed within our systems could be unified. This was built upon our existing SQL job populations as an additional step.
SSRS Report Engine - Using our Metrics Engine I was instrumental in managing the data structure which would allow a single SSRS report to be able to display any of our metrics in a variety of layouts, all controlled by our data saving us requiring to deploy the reports for each change, ultimately drastically reducing report release times.

2021
SMS & Ad Bill Process - Completed an overhaul to our SMS & Ad bill process, moving the process to a structured import of an excel sheet into our database, which then used a front end SSRS report to complete the data cleaning process through automation scripts, alon with error reporting, which could be used by a standard user. Reducing this task from a 2 day project to a 30 minute ticket with no disruption to financial reporting figures.
KPI Email Report Overhaul - Successfully debugged, optimized, and restructured a legacy early-concept BI data structure which the business was still using in an automated email report. Initially the project was ongoing maintenance for the code & recurring debugging. I proactively began implementing sections of our new BI data process into the report until it was no longer relying on the previous structure.
